Everything on deck
San Francisco-based producer and long time dance-music veteran, Behrouz Nazari, is difficult to label. He’s like his music–a little of everything and a whole lot of style. Behrouz brings his super mix of musical genres–deep house, tribal, progressive, with just a touch of electro and techno–to Next Door Friday for a blow-out set.
Behrouz has headlined at some of the world’s most notorious clubs, including Pacha, Space and DC-10 in Ibiza, Crobar in Miami, New York and Chicago, Ruby Skye in San Francisco and Red Light in Paris. Add to this his highly-acclaimed productions, CD compilations and award nominations and there you have it: a superstar DJ.
Over the course of his career, Behrouz has played alongside the industry’s top DJs including Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Carl Cox and Pete Tong. In 2003, Tenaglia and Deep Dish named Behrouz ‘the DJ to watch’ in DJ Magazine’s annual ‘Top 100 DJ’ issue. Behrouz was nominated for Best Breakthrough DJ at the 2004 Dancestar Awards, nominated for Best Breakthrough DJ at the 2004 DJ Awards and most recently nominated for Best Resident DJ at the 2005 Club World Awards.
