Rap-ture
DJ Rap / For her accomplishments in electronic music, Rolling Stone magazine compared her to Madonna, but superstar spinstress DJ Rap is far from your average material girl.
Having first gained her superstar status in the jungle and drum-and-bass genres, the jack of all sounds is currently taking the house music world by storm, still hard and still edgy. The storm passes through Pipeline Café Saturday.
While Calvin Klein and Armani Exchange have coveted her music as well as her likeness, don’t let the cover girl good looks fool you.
Along with being an artist in high demand, Rap is also a producer who happens to run not one but two successful music labels: Proper Talent and Improper Talent. Now that’s getting it done.
