Stevie wonder
DJ, L.A. club promoter, producer–we could go on, but to sum it up best, the fast-paced world of Steve Aoki stops for no one. Energetic and very much ahead of his time, Aoki’s Dim Mak Records and clothing line prove that his brand of electro house beats meshes together well with his fashion-forward lifestyle.
Awards or accolades never completely define success but the man formerly known as Kid Millionaire has a few to his credit, including earning Mix Album of the Year (2008) by Billboard and Best Party Rocker DJ (2007) by the BMP magazine.
Creating buzz today is his debut single “I’m In the House,” featuring Zuper Blahq, better known as [Will.i.am] of the Black Eyed Peas.
Earlier this month, Aoki released his ode to the King of Pop with his “Dancing Machine” remix adding to a remix roll call that includes magic made for Snoop Dogg, Kravitz, Good Charlotte, Robin Thicke and even a Duran Duran-Timberland collaboration.
It almost goes without saying but when it comes to doing what he does best, Steve Aoki is a beast.
