“There’s something about just sick, nasty bass that makes me feel like a lil’ old school girl,” said the drum ‘n’ bass diehard.
He’s been crushing dance floors with a purpose long before many of today’s club kids had a purpose to begin with. Bass-X is one of the few DJs today who can say he’s rocked landmark locales like the Wave, 1739 and Nimitz Hall.
Bass-X is currently doing damage once a month at SoHo Mixed Media Bar where the best in fidget, electro and breaks reigns supreme drops hard and fast. No disclaimer needed to know that the best of underground dance culture will always be represented to the fullest. It’s the only way.
“I’ve been blessed to be able to do what I love, to spin and make crowds move regardless [of whether] its d ‘n’ b, dubstep or house, it means a lot to me and I owe it all to Hawaii’s scene that has continued to support me and our ‘kru’ ru over the years,” he said.
