The Vission thing
DJ Richard Vission / Visions of love and sounds of seductive grooviness highlight the electronic music party scene this weekend when superstar DJ Richard Vission makes his return to the islands. Smooth as in groove, silky defines the mood at the second annual Valentine’s Day massive aptly called Silky Love Saturday evening at Pipeline Cafe.Along with putting his signature twist on tracks for Prince, Lady Gaga, U2 and Madonna, there is little argument that the Los Angeles native is a Hawaii favorite. The Grammy-nominated DJ/producer phenom, who enters his fourth decade of house music supremacy, has traveled the world over spreading his original flair for the dramatic to provide the definition of what global mass appeal really means.
While seeing a sea of bodies dance to its heart’s content is virtually a given, with this modern-day DJ icon rocking the house, you will finally understand that Valentine’s Day traditions like roses and paying for dinner can be so predictable and downright overrated.
