Sho Stopper
DJ Sho / Weekends and big crowds bring out the best in DJ Sho.
Bottles poppin’ and dance floors rockin’ at Zanzabar are a given and so is DJ Sho’s penchant for party rocking excellence.
One moment he’s dropping club hits, the next minute the vibe switches to electro mash-ups. It’s all about salvaging the moment for Z-bar’s resident mixman.
“I push the boundaries and try not to play any top 40 tracks whenever possible,” he says.
Sho may be one of the 808’s most underrated, yet it’s a position he relishes. Besides, how many Hawaii DJs can say they played in Las Vegas this summer? Exactly.
Together with veterans Wu Chang, Big John and Mike D., he is part of the best DJ units in all of Waikiki.
“DJ’ing in Waikiki is very interesting,” he says. “You get a variety of people from all over the world. You have to satisfy all of them at the same time.”
It’s satisfaction guaranteed for this club sho-stopper.
