Groove pallets will be moistened, appetites for the deep and soulful house sound will be whet, courtesy of the one and only Terry Hunter.
Hunter broke into the business at age 18 and quickly made a name for himself through the Southside Chi-town house party circuit. What soon followed was a reputation for giving his soul and providing that certain get-down flavor that would eventually make him him into a DJ and producer to be reckoned with.
With a love affair for the house genre that has lasted more than 25 years, the incomparable Hunter (Plugg City, T’s Box) hasn’t slowed down. If anything, his fascination with good grooves has only enhanced his deliberate acts of cool creation.
Hunter successfully stepped into the hip hop arena producing tracks for fellow Chi-native Rhymefest and Killer Mike as if he had been spinning the genre all of his life.
The global funk mainstay and active member of the Violator All Star DJ camp, who has a stacked resume that includes remixed songs for Michael and Janet Jackson and Mary J. Blige, is never to be underestimated.
House step sonic boom.
