Feelin’ the Love
“I don’t get stressed. I focus on my music and what I like, but I always try to please everybody,” says Lopazz, the German genius who will release his latest EP this Friday night at Sunset Room.
Whether putting his creative mind in the realm of mixing, mastering or multimedia, Lopazz’s collective efforts have made a big splash in the global pool since the early 2000s. Quite the studio junkie, Lopazz has many talents other than just club rocking. His production resumé is highlighted by remixes for Tiger Stripes, M.A.N.D.Y. and DJ T. Lopazz (real name Stefan Eichinger) has also produced TV scores since 1999.
The new EP, I Feel Love, features a remix by hometown producers Higher Concept and Willis Haltom, both of whom will perform opening sets for the release party. As one of the most well-known and respected labels in dance music, Get Physical Records just celebrated 10 years of production and will go all out with this release.
“I change the style of music if it’s not working,” Lopazz says of his live performances. “There’s a certain range within electronic music. I think a DJ should be able to change his set a little bit from case to case.”
