SHOP A LEA / Here’s a way to help the community and jumpstart your spring cleaning: Eight sites in the Ala Moana Center will be accepting donations of professional women’s attire starting Monday. Classy dresses, suits, jackets, handbags, shoes and jewelry are requested, so save your faded jeans for a thrift shop. The items will be passed to Dress for Success Honolulu, an organization that provides low-income ladies with the garments and encouragement needed to begin or further their careers. Check out the Ala Moana Web site for a list of participating retailers, and even some goodies they’ll be giving out to pay-it-forward fashionistas like you.
