Green for your greens
IN THE POCKET / You go to Ala Moana and snatch the final pair of those obviously designed-for-you denims that may as well have your name on the label (True Relig-who?). Night rolls around and they look just as good on you in your home as they did in the flattering mirror-and-lighting design of that retail fitting room. Before you hit the Chinatown bricks, you pocket the essentials: car keys, cell phone and a wallet so overstuffed that it took those new pants from form-fitting to unflattering faster than you can say, “George Costanza’s billfold.”
To the rescue is the Mighty Wallet from Dynomighty Design, the perfect “night out” wallet that doesn’t mess with your silhouette. Made from an economical, origami-folded sheet of Tyvek (imagine a USPS express mail envelope, only more compact), its unique superhero-esque microfiber material makes for a tear-resistant, water-resistant and stain-resistant construction that’ll have Clark Kent running for his kryptonite.
Its writeable notepad surface made from 25 percent recycled content also adds something eco-green for your greens. Extremely slim and available in 28 youthful designs that run from classic black to the Golden Age of comic books to Star Trek, there’s more than enough selection to store both your personality and stash.
