The Bikini That Ate Oahu
On the Body / Brazilian Bikini Showroom opened up a second location in the Kailua Town Center as part of Kaneohe Ranch’s redevelopment of Kailua Road.
With the increasing popularity of their first store in Kaimuki, which opened in 2008, owner Nadia Ribeiro realized she needed to open a more convenient location for her eastside customers.
“Brazilian bikinis got popular in Hawaii because the girls are fit, have the perfect body and are comfortable showing skin,” Ribeiro says. “There’s no way someone can’t find the perfect bikini here.”
Shop for over 50 mix-and-match styles of bikini bottoms and tops available in more than 15 colors and patterns from sizes extra small to extra large. All pieces come in a variety of designs for any beach belles looking for a little more (or less) coverage. In addition to Ribeiro’s own top-selling BSR brand, the store also carries Havaianas slippers and other two-pieced goodies from Brazilian swimwear designers Poko Pano and Banco de Areia.
