ere it is. Our second annual bar guide–as if you need a guide to drinking. Still though, it’s never a bad idea to tell you about places you’ve never heard of, remind you of places you’ve forgotten and share your love of places you visit again and again.
Consider the following pages your map to a part of Honolulu nightlife that might otherwise go unnoticed: We introduce you to five of this city’s friendly bouncers–you’re sure to recognize at least a couple of them. We tell you where to pau hana on the cheap–we’re willing to bet a couple of beers that you’d never go to some of these places on your own. We give you an inside look at a group of people who have made a legitimate pastime out of the pub crawl and we lay down the drinking law with help of a few long-time bartenders who say there’s a right way and wrong way to behave in a bar.
