We couldn’t even begin to pick the best of the best, so we picked one issue from each of our 20 volumes, taped them to the wall of our War Room, and threw darts. Just kidding. Our selection process was more scientific than that, but we won’t divulge our secrets. How else do you think we survived 20 years?
It’s jarring how many of these stories haven’t changed. Nonetheless, these links take you to the twenty stories we don’t want you to forget.

COMMENTS
We often print online comments in our “Letters to the Editor” section of Honolulu Weekly. While submitted letters are often edited for length and clarity, online comments we use are printed entirely as they are written for the website. If you do not wish for your comment to be used in Honolulu Weekly print issues, please write “Don’t Print” at the end of your comment. For questions, e-mail editorial@honoluluweekly.com. Thank you!
