Defend nonprofits Speak out re Turtle Bay
CIVIX / Most local government is taking a break, but you don’t have to.
The Hawaii Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations says that decisions made in federal fiscal negotiations could have grim consequences, and urges citizens to contact representatives and ask that charitable giving incentives stay in place.
A few neighborhood boards are holding Dec. meetings: Kalihi, Kaneohe and Makiki.
There’s just under a month left to comment on the environmental impact statement.
