Restaurant: Impossible in Hawaii
Restaurant: Impossible / Calling all restaurants. The Food Network is casting for its series Restaurant: Impossible. The first season premieres Jan. 19. The network is looking for a restaurant to feature on its second season, to be filmed in Hawaii. The show travels to different cities in search of restaurants that have had a long-standing history with and a good tie-in to the featured city but have fallen on hard times and are in need of a major boost to get up and running again. Chef Robert Irvine will come and, in two days with $10,000, transform the restaurant to get it back on track. Potential applicants must run full-service restaurants; have strong, outgoing personalities; be willing to overhaul their menu, décor and theme; being family owned and run is a plus.
