Natatorium Perspective
As I walked the perimeter of the Natatorium, the first rays of sunlight fell upon the war memorial. I started snapping photos of the structure, trying to capture it in its early morning glory, when a local man approached me. Sensing my interest in the memorial, he began to share his memories. The man recalled the days of Duke and when his family used to visit, and I could tell the Natatorium was a special place for him, as it was for so many people. —Laura Chartier
