Hint hunt
Whatevahs / Attention James Bonds, Harry Potters, Indiana Joneses and Da Vinci code breakers: The time has come for you to embark on the adventure of a lifetime around and about the streets and secret landmarks of Honolulu, complete with clues, maps, puzzles and tacky treasures. Can you break the codes in The Great Hunt for the Queen’s Gold?
Ravenchase Adventures offers treasure hunters around the country the chance to live their ultimate fantasy. The Hawai’i component is no exception. Not only will you spend the day on a clue-solving quest with friends, you’ll score an intellectually clever and cultural tour of downtown Honolulu’s hidden gems. After registering you get your first clue and a list of must-haves for your upcoming most-excellent adventure. You’ll find out where and when to meet. Staff will greet you with basic instructions, hints, handmade treasure maps and some additional clues at the starting point. Actors and secret gemstones along the route add to the fun and raise the stakes. There’s no reality TV cameras, trips to Morocco or yachts awaiting, but this is a race and you will win a token trophy, bragging rights and libations if you’re the first to answer all the clues. Happy hunting.
