Whole Foods Community Support Day / In less than a year, Whole Foods has managed to make itself the happenin’ place of Kahala Mall, to claim its spot in refrigerators across the island and to become, at the very least, part of the Oahu ‘ohana. Part of the ‘ohana, indeed, considering that it will soon host its quarterly Community Support Day, which will benefit “Team Hawaii,” Kapiolani Community College’s very own competitive culinary team. The day will feature demonstrations from culinary students and alumni, who will show how to prepare various dishes and get the most value out of your foods. Samples galore will also save you a trip to Costco.
