Do the art walk
Haleiwa Art Walk / The winter season is in the air. Clouds appear more frequently to cool down the beaches, the first swells of the season have already come, and holiday preparations are in full swing. Haleiwa has a special place in our hearts all year round. But in the winter, this cowboy-surfer village becomes a playground for the best in the world.
Many of the wave-riders and the teeming thousands who come to see them also create and enjoy art, so it’s a good thing Haleiwa Art Walk is the last Saturday of each month. The town comes alive with paintings, sculptures and events at local shops. Costumed sillies will be out cruising, since it will also be Halloween. A highlight you must check out: the gallery Art…Is. The colorful and inspirational retired surfboards popping out of the yard of this family venture are always worth a visit.
