Hallowbaloo / Crazy Chinatown block party alert! Once again this weekend, as they do just about any time they get an excuse, the fun-loving citizens of Honolulu will descend on Chinatown for a night of drinking, art and sexual intrigue.

Hallowbaloo, however, is special, and stands out in the Nuuanu Avenue orgy calendar like a silicone implant in a haystack–or something. The annual Halloweeen blowout regularly features first-rate musical performers (Blitzen Trapper and Anders Osbourne highlight this year’s lineup) and a feast of other delights.
