OK, it may not be as funny as Sarah Palin’s book tour, but this weekend’s comedic tour de force will surely keep you laughing. Comedians Dane Cook and Gabriel Iglesias are coming to town and will be dividing the stage at the Blaisdell Concert Hall for a weekend of hilarity.
“Hot and Fluffy” funny man Gabriel Iglesias, known for his sound effects and dead-on celebrity imitations, takes the stage Friday night. You might remember him from the Last Comic Standing, My Wife and Kids or The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, but if not, you have the word(s) of a million Twitter fans: He’s funny. His clean comedy is great for any age, but if you’re looking for an evening full of super-finger hand gestures and an occasional f-bomb, just wait until Saturday.
Actor and comedian Dane Cook continues his Isolated Incident Global Thermo Comedy Tour on Saturday, completing a weekend of nonstop laughter. The new tour gives fans a chance to watch him perform out of his comfort zone, often remarking on his overly saturated Hollywood persona. Cook is famous for his energetic physical comedy and his hilarious observations about human behavior. He’s considered a modern-day comedic icon and is celebrated as one of America’s most charismatic entertainers.
If you’re too lazy to work out, but still like the feeling of a bruised rib cage, then here’s a double dose of endorphin-boosting laughter that will absolutely leave you aching in the morning.
