Black ballers
Loft / Most proms are in the spring, when the sun shines, the flowers bloom and the birds chirp–perfect mating season for the young ’uns. Plus pastel colors. Despite the fact that our island winters are not so gloomy, the early darkness, increased rainfall and the temperature drop of a few degrees are all enough to set the mood for a dark dance–specifically The Bat Cave’s Goth Prom, presented by DJ Nocturna’s Camera Obscura. If you still haven’t taken off your Beetlejuice Lydia costume from Halloween, you can be a queen at the Goth Prom, drinking red wine with your dark prince. Whether you’ll be dancing with your hair over your eyes to the tunes of Modboy and Shadowfaxxx or practicing your vampire-like seductive gaze on the lady in the corset, beware of spiked Blavod and don’t let the bats bite.
