Boldly recline

Movie Museum / Hey Trekkies, wanna experience the monumental sci-fi achievement that was JJ Abrams’ Star Trek one more time in a theater environment before blasting it in Blu-ray at home for the rest of the year? Perhaps you’ve been stuck under a heavy object and weren’t able to see what surprisingly turned out to be not only one of the best instances of Trekdom ever, but also one of the best movies of 2009?
The Movie Museum in Kaimuki will be screening the contemporary classic in its comfy, private digital theater and you can eat and drink whatever you want to bring with you. Alcohol is allowed so, yes, you can even bring that vintage bottle of Romulan ale and toast Nero as he says, “The wait is over.” Just set those phasers on stun so no one will get hurt.
