Winter wonderland
Winter Wonderettes / If you need an excuse for an old fashioned mug of eggnog filled with a double shot of Christmas cheer, then celebrate early with the Winter Wonderettes at Manoa Valley Theatre.
It’s 1968 and Christmas time in Springfield. The Marvelous Wonderettes entertain a holiday party for Harper’s Hardware, but when the news breaks out that the store is closing its doors, the party becomes a tribute to Christmas wishes around the world.
All ends merrily in this winter wonderland after the Wonderettes create a ’60s party brimming with songs like “Mister Santa,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Mele Kalikimaka” and many more. When the party’s over, you’ll enjoy a happy twist with a Santa serenade.
