UB sorry U missed this

Ali Campbell / People in Hawaii love reggae. Want proof? Go to any sports bar on the island and nine out of 10 times it’ll be a reggae or Jawaiian band blasting their tunes as you eat pupu and drink beer. So what better way to celebrate this love for reggae than by seeing former UB40 singer, Ali Campbell, at Aloha Tower Marketplace this weekend? Campbell, who left UB40 in 2008 due to management problems, has had a successful solo career since his departure from the band, touring the world and selling out concerts. He brings with him a host of “reggae music vets,” who help him perform classics such as “Red Red Wine” and “The Way You Do the Things You Do.” Yes, Hawaii does get a lot of reggae acts from abroad but few are as talented and renowned as Campbell. So head down to the concert before you regret not getting to sing along to one of the “UK’s most distinctive and recognizable voices.”
