This Saturday, we celebrate Hawaii’s staple food with its very own festival in celebration of National Rice Month. What’s in store at the third annual Rice Fest is a collection of food trucks, entertainment, artisan vendors and free samples for sure. Celebrity news anchors and chefs, including Grant Kawasaki and Chef Mavro, will participate in a series of cooking demos, and the ever-popular SPAM musubi-eating contest is the culminating event, making this free festival one worth tweeting and eating about.
