Concerts & Clubs / Think you’re in for another humdrum post-New Year’s Eve burnt out Saturday night? Not if you put some Luda in it! It’s easy to see why the hip-hop artist has garnered glowing concert reviews these past few months. Ludacris is funny, clever, adorable, and dammit, his singles are just so catchy. Performing all his best hits from the past decade, the pioneer of the Dirty South movement will perform in Hawaii along with one of its hottest newcomers, Big K.R.I.T., at the Blaisdell Arenaand you can bet you will know every song. With singles on his new album, Ludaversal–set to be released this year produced by heavy-hitters such as the Neptunes and David Guetta–there is already a continued rush of acclaim for the Grammy Award-winning artist-slash-actor. Big K.R.I.T. (King Remembered In Time), opening for Ludacris, is strong in his own right in the dissident mixtape circuit with a successful first album, Live From the Underground. Expect a well-rounded, pre-Pro Bowl hip-hop takeover.
