Honolulu Weekly

It is very fashionable to be aware of “global warming” and being “green.” The written scare tactics and feeling of fear purportedly associated with those who blindly accept and write that ice is melting and therefore the seas will rise is irresponsible. To take just one factor (melting glacier ice) and extrapolate that the sea level will rise a meter, is illogical. In “A rising tide” (10/14), Ragnar Carlson and Honolulu Weekly have given space to validate and spread these unsubstantiated views. Instead of spreading propaganda, I challenge Honolulu Weekly to provide information and views on both sides of this huge argument and then let people make up their own minds.
