GMOs off agenda
This is absurd, and disappointing. (“[City] Council Dodge,” Dec. 5) Hawaii local government needs to enforce some major changes in their behavior. It’s a government for the people, by the people; and it would seem that the people are being ignored.

Only items that are approved by all four counties make it into the final Hawaii State Association of Counties (HSAC) package sent to the Legislature. So GMO labeling, which was approved by the three other counties but removed from the Honolulu City Council agenda, will not be included.
