Stop ruining it
The day will come when FLYING to Hawaii is a thing of the past. What will become of the hotels and the timeshares (“Country’s Time,” Dec. 19) then? So too, driving as much as we do like chickens with their heads cut off, will be over. What good then, the multi-lane state highways and freeways? All the toxic tar pavement slowly dissolving in rainwater and flowing into streams leading to ocean shoreline habitat. Oh, is somebody not going to be rich no more? Too bad. Let Hawaiian[s] replant Hawaii.
