Du Vin has expanded its half-price happy hour menu to include not only pupu, but its well and specialty drinks. Happy hours are Mon–Sat, 4–6pm. 545-1115
Chef Mavro launched his new summer menu featuring local abalone, Colorado lamb and hibiscus pavlova. The three-course menu is $69. There are additional four- and six-course menus, and diners are invited to mix and match. 944-4714
Looks like something is finally developing at one of the historic buildings on Hotel Street next to the retail store INTO. Banners are up for Manifest, proclaiming a new restaurant, but no launch date. Stay tuned…
Meanwhile, Alan at INTO is selling off his fancy decor and planning to redevelop his site as a lounge. He said last week, “The neighborhood is moving away from SoHo, more into drinks than design.”
Hiroshi will feature its Contemporary Kaiseki Dinner this Friday 7/3. This is an updated version of the traditional Japanese multi-course meal. Nine courses, $75 just food, $100 with wine pairings. 533-4476
