Those wondering what would happen to the old Taco Bell/Pizza Hut space on Fort Street are in for some double trouble. Or make that treats. Hawaii’s own Bad Ass Coffee Company, which has expanded to cities throughout the Islands and the mainland, will be adding another location to its successful franchise for downtown worker drones to get their Hawaiian-grown coffee buzz on. Yogen Früz, a Canadian frozen yogurt joint, gets a shot at expansion in what may be the first froyo renaissance since the ’80s. Choose between non-fat, low-fat and no-sugar blends, fresh fruit toppings and smoothies. Yogen Früz claims to be yümmy. Emphasis on the ü.
