News of a new frozen yogurt spot in a tropical climate never gets old. But a froyo addition inside a Vietnamese restaurant is something novel. Vietnam Café Pho Saigon has begun a self-serve frozen yogurt station, complete with topping station. Next to the tables filled with steaming hot pho and crispy spring rolls are cool flavors such as taro, mango and yes, durian. Create your tropical dream at 39 cents an ounce. Green bonus: the yogurt containers are manufactured by Eco-Products, meaning they are biodegradable.

Orchids at the Halekulani Hotel has a new lunch and dinner menu, which celebrates a contemporary style of seafood cooking. Lunch entrees include a lobster and crab burger and Kahuku shrimp ravioli. New dinner offerings include an opah and pork dish and Big Eye ‘ahi with artichoke, hearts of palm and cherry tomato salad with béarnaise sauce.
