Food & Drink / Opened: Home Bar and Grill. The chefs at Kanpai have moved back to their old and now newly renovated Slammers spot. Some menu favorites from Kanpai have transferred over, like the Wafu steak and garlic chicken, while new menu items are being developed.

Opened: Restaurant U-ma-mi. Specializing in yakitori and kushiyaki–i.e., food on sticks, like tomato and bacon kushiage (tomato wrapped with bacon, and katsu-fried) and grilled chicken meatball.

Opened: Yakitori Yoshi. More grilled and skewered food: wasabi chicken, wings, takoyaki.

Opened: Frost City. Another player in the “snow ice” trend where thin sheets of ice are layered like phyllo dough. Unlike other places, however, Frost City makes its own flavored ice bases.
