Valiant return The Haleiwa Farmers’ Market celebrates its grand re-opening this Thursday from 3–7pm in Waimea Valley’s Pikake Pavillion with an opening pule by Waimea kupuna. The market will feature 50 booths and be open every Thursday.
Bon apétit! For the month of August, The Kahala Hotel & Resort is celebrating the life of Julia Child through a gourmet French dinner (Aug. 12), culinary classes, special menus at Hoku’s every Sunday and Thursday, a wine and food festival and special a la carte items in the restaurants made from Child’s cookbook. The Veranda is also offering Parisian Pleasures, a specialty menu for late-night snacking nightly, and the Plumeria Beach House’s Bounty of the Seven Seas buffet on Friday and Saturday nights will feature French cuisine.
Bacon, syrup and doughnuts, oh my! The Liquor Collection is now carrying Voodoo Doughnut Maple Bacon Ale in extremely limited amounts from Rouge Brewery. Get it while you can.
