Could you be my Valentine?: On Sunday, Feb. 11, Panya Bistro (Ala Moana Center, Mall Level Mauka by Long’s) hosts a Valentine’s singles’ dinner and dessert buffet. Ice breakers, relationship advisors, prizes and a speed-dating session spice up the evening with liquid courage provided by a Better Brands wine tasting. Seats are $95 and limited to 20 men and 20 women between 35 and 55. The presentation, hosted by the Vegetarian Society of Hawai’i, is free and takes place at Ala Moana Beach Park’s McCoy Pavilion at 7pm on Saturday, Feb. 10. Twenty-five contestants will bake three dozen cookies, donating two dozen that will feed hungry and needy individuals. Attendance is $2 per person including cookies and coffee.
