Fred Hemmings / What was your biggest accomplishment this session?
“My biggest accomplishment this past session was being a voice of reason and opposition to tax increases and a special interest budget. You see, I am not a part of the status quo. I pay a dear price for being “the loyal” opposition. I am proud to offer the people of Hawaii an alternative to the economic, educational, energy and environmental debacle created by the business as usual by the majority party. Our legislative process needs balance and the people of Hawaii deserve better. I hope the voters remember that Hawaii can achieve beneficial change if they vote in legislators who will change. Doing the same thing year in and year out and expecting different results is insanity.”
