Hawaii Public Radio / Watch a live taping of one Hawaii Public Radio’s most popular shows for free. Broadcasting on KIPO FM 89.3 at 6:30pm every Tuesday, Aloha Shorts is hosted by reporter-turned-writer Cedric Yamanaka, and features local writers and poets, as well as the musical entertainment of house band Hamajang. Taping of Aloha Shorts takes place at the station’s Atherton Performing Arts Studio on the first Sunday of every month and is open to the public. Interested audience members should call HPR to sign-up and reserve a seat. Judy Neale, director of promotion, says that the show is “largely for adults, not because of content, particularly, but the works aren’t written for children.”
